Previous Biography:
Danny and the Bygones combine the sincerity, the stories, and the singularity of the singer-songwriter genre with the experimentation, the improvisation, and the explosion of sound that defines Rock & Roll. Formed in late 2006, the band came about when singer-songwriter Danny Greene started looking for a band that could support his strange song ideas. His early flyers notoriously read:”
Songwriter looking for a guitarist,
who can sing harmonies,
can write music,
knows how to shred on guitar, and…
must love the Beach Boys.”
Vince Paglione, answered the call and the two instantly became a songwriting machine, crafting 10 songs within the first 2 weeks they knew each other. The rest of the collective quickly came together through friends of friends and a mutual love of harmony. The band consists of Danny and Vince and a rotating super-group of musicians. Danny and the Bygones can be seen on stage bringing their complex and powerful songs to life via piano, guitar, cello, upright bass, drums, and of course three-part harmonies.
